Hello Auntie, Hello Uncle
The Wing Luke Museum’s exhibit “Hello Auntie, Hello Uncle” explores the multifaceted roles of elders in the Asian American community, reflecting on their influence as caregivers, cultural bearers, activists, and leaders. Through personal stories and historical information, the exhibit, running from April 5, 2024, to February 23, 2025, highlights the importance of respecting and honoring elders, while also addressing the need for more supportive services and cultural understanding within the community.
